Newells Old Boys vs Boca Juniors Predictions

Monday’s Superliga Argentina action features an interesting looking clash between Newell’s and Boca. A close game is expected to be in order, with little looking like separating the two.

After a strong end to 2018 in charge, Hector Bidoglio now finds himself in permanent  control of Newell’s and with legendary midfielder Maxi Rodriguez having returned to the club, there’s a feeling of renewed vigour around La Lepra at the moment. Currently stationed in 13th in the Superliga, the side will be aiming for a strong end to the season, with continental places up for grabs.

Ultimately, whilst it’s Boca who are undoubtedly the stronger of the two on paper, morale is higher in Newell’s ranks at this moment in time and we’re expecting a pretty even, balanced contested. Newell’s support mean they are never a trip to be looked forward to and we’re confident they’ll more than play their part in this fixture.
