Norwich vs Bristol City Predictions

  • Norwich have won four of their last five home league games and have lost just once at Carrow Road this season (W7, D4).
  • The Canaries have won their last two Championship matches and seven of their last nine (D1, L1).
  • Bristol City have lost their last three away outings and four of their last six league games overall.
  • Norwich ran out cosy 1-3 winners when the sides met at Ashton Gate earlier this season.

Canaries to Complete Double Over Robins

Norwich beat Bristol City 1-3 at Dean Court earlier this season and the Canaries should get the better of the Robins once again when the sides face off at Carrow Road on Wednesday evening.

Daniel Farke’s men maintained their promotion assault and perfect start to 2021 with a superb 1-2 victory at Cardiff City on Saturday – a result which made it seven wins in nine for the soaring Canaries who look bang on course for an immediate return to the Premier League.

They turn out at Carrow Road this week having won four of their last five home starts (D1) and with just one defeat here all season (W7, D4), it’s no surprise that Norwich are priced around 4/7 to dispatch a Bristol City team who have lost their last three away league matches.

Dean Holden’s men travel to Norfolk on the back of a 2-0 home win against Preston at the weekend, however they remain off the pace in ninth after losing four of their last six and are likely to come up short here judging by their away form and October’s reverse fixture where Norwich ran out cosy winners.

The hosts are worthy of inclusion in midweek multiples at their current odds, but for a single wager it may be worth throwing both teams to score into the equation.

Despite their woes on the road, Bristol have scored in five of their last seven away outings, while Norwich have conceded in four of their last six at home. With those numbers in mind, a Norwich win and both teams to score appeals and we’re also tipping up a 3-1 success for the league leaders.
