Norwich vs Southampton Betting Tips

Norwich’s early season good form collapsed into a terrible run of results which saw them slide down the Premier League table.

They went on a dismal run of five defeats in a row and only won one in ten in all competitions.

But their luck changed when they managed to get a point against Everton and a win at Old Trafford before Christmas, and they have now only lost one of their last four Premier League matches.

Their comfortable 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday took them to 15^th in the table, but they are still only three points clear of the drop zone.

Southampton have picked up four more points than their opponents and sit in 12^th position in the Premier League, but they find themselves in poor form going into the New Year.

Their 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal on Boxing Day was entirely unexpected, but unfortunately for them they couldn’t build on that when they lost to West Ham on Monday.

This loss made it six defeats, one win, and one draw in Southampton’s last eight matches in all competitions. They have only picked up four points from a possible 21 over the past six weeks.

Both teams are struggling at the back at the moment so I think they will both be focusing on attack for this face off.

Norwich have conceded in six of their last seven Premier League matches, whilst Southampton have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight outings in all competitions.

With both sides desperate to distance themselves from the relegation zone and the defence of both sides looking shaky at best I think both sides could have a good go at this one. This makes odds of 8/11 for Both Teams to Score look good value to me, and I’m also going for a 2-1 Norwich win at 11/1.
