Flying Forest can punish Malmo

Nottingham Forest have hit their stride under Sean Dyche and they should have far too much for Sweden’s Malmo in the Europa League on Thursday.

Forest claimed a stunning 3-0 win at Liverpool over the weekend and they can follow that up by seeing off Malmo with a bit of room to spare on Thursday.

Backing the hosts to cover a -1 handicap looks a strong option here. The Reds come into the game after back-to-back wins, scoring six goals and conceding just once across those two games.

Malmo have found the Europa League tough and have just one point to show from their four games. The Swedish outfit have shipped seven goals and scored just twice in those fixtures, so they may end up drawing a blank at the City Ground against a Forest side who have kept clean sheets in their last two European assignments.

Malmo have suffered some big European defeats this term, losing out 5-0 at Copenhagen in Champions League qualifying and 3-0 at Plzen in the Europa League. Forest could win by a big margin here after hitting three in consecutive games against Leeds and Liverpool, even if Dyche does decide to freshen up/rotate his team, and a 4-0 win for the hosts seems a reasonable correct score prediction.
