Notts County vs Dagenham And Redbridge Predictions
- Notts County have won three straight meetings when hosting.
- The hosts have won six of their last nine home games.
- Dagenham and Redbridge have lost four of their last five away matches in the league.
Hosts in the thick of it
Notts County have slipped to sixth in the last couple of weeks but still remain inside the play-off places coming into this Saturday evening fixture in front of the BT Sport cameras.
They were dumped out of the FA Cup by Rochdale before losing 2-0 at Eastleigh and being held to a 1-1 draw by high-flying Boreham Wood having taken the lead.
They have only lost one of their last seven league matches and are back on home soil where they last faced play-off rivals Solihull Moors and came out 2-0 winners.
Daggers looking to climb the table
Dagenham and Redbridge come into this game in 10th place and just three points behind their hosts despite losing back-to-back matches at home to Eastleigh and Yeovil.
They are on the road for the first time since their 4-1 win at struggling Maidenhead. That victory ended a run of four straight defeats away from home. The visitors failed to score in any of those four games with three of those losses coming against sides above them in the table.
I’m expecting Notts County to take advantage of Dagenham and Redbridge’s travel issues in this one backed by raucous home support that set the record for biggest attendance at a National League game a fortnight ago. County have had their guests’ number in recent meetings and I’m predicting a 2-1 win here.
