Draw specialists backable for victory this weekend

Ostersunds face IFK Goteborg in a relegation scrap this weekend with neither side taking much winning form into the game.

The hosts have won twice this season while the visitors, who are one point better off, have only tasted victory once in nine games.

IFK – one of Sweden’s traditional ‘Big Three’ should be much higher but have been unable to convert performances into victories, drawing a league-high six times.

Mikael Stahre’s team went down 1-0 at home to Elfsborg last weekend, having missed a penalty at 0-0 in a game that could have unfolded very differently.

They are not prolific at all, having scored only once in those four straight away draws, but did bag four on their last visit to Jämtkraft Arena.

The hosts are set to be without influential star Blair Turgott for this one and we thin k his presence will be missed as IFK go on to secure their first win since very early in the season.

It won’t be by a hatful, however, and should prove shrewd to back a 1-0 success in the correct score market as a check on their 2020 results shows that IFK scored more than one away goal in only a third of their games.
