Estoril to leave Ferreira with a point

Pacos Ferreira started the season brightly with a win over Famalicao on the opening day of the Primeira Liga season, as well as a two legged victory over Larne in the Europa Conference League but a disappointing loss to Boavista last week brought the side back down to Earth. The side finished in fifth place last season, some way behind the top four and will be targeting another top five finish this season.

Estoril won Segunda Liga by four points last season and they’ve been able to carry that form into the new campaign with the side yet to lose, or even concede, so far. They were able to defeat Arouca on the opening day of the season and a goalless draw with Guimaraes last weekend ensured they carry their unbeaten start into the third game of the season.

This looks as though it could be a fairly tight affair with Ferreira performing below expectations so far this season and Estroil being the polar opposition. We can’t see much between the two sides and we’re predicting this game ends in a draw. Estoril haven’t conceded yet but that looks likely to change this weekend and we’re forecasting a 1-1 draw in this tie.
