It’s curtains for Zwolle

After a nine-year stay in the top-flight, Zwolle were finally mathematically relegated with defeat last time out. The Blue Fingers have now scored just once across their last three games and look to be going down with a whimper, and a visit from free-scoring PSV is hardly an ideal way to end their time at the top.

It comes as little surprise that Zwolle have failed to score in a joint league high 15 games when considering that they have netted a mere 25 goals this term. In their home games against the other two ‘Big Three’ sides, Zwolle conceded twice both times, though to their credit they did at least net against Feyenoord.

An exhibition for PSV

Guaranteed to finish in second no matter what, PSV can play with freedom in this clash. While not quite good enough to better Ajax this term, the squad is simply oozing with talent, the likes of which should relish playing against a trodden Zwolle outfit.

This is also Eran Zahavi’s final farewell to the PSV fans after recently confirming that he will not be extending his stay beyond this season. The Israeli hitman has notched 11 league goals this term and could yet end the term with the top club scorer accolade if he can grab one or two in his final game.

We predict that PSV simply have too much quality for Zwolle to deal with and as such, they could easily win with a -1 handicap at tempting odds. As for the correct score, we are siding with a straightforward 3-0 PSV win.
