PSV look to bounce back

Although Ruud van Nistelrooy’s PSV ran out 2-0 winners in their home game against Sevilla in midweek, they were ultimately dumped out of the Europa League by the competition specialists by a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.

Bouncing back to Eredivisie form is imperative for the Eindhoveners then, especially as they enter this round six points off the title pace. They’ll face a tough challenge against Twente though, with both sides scoring in a joint-fourth league high 14 of 18 Eredivisie games.

It’s not just goals at both ends that’s been a theme, but the fact there’s been over 2.5 goals in the last four Eredivisie meetings between these sides. Moreover, only four clubs have scored more than Twente’s 35 in Eredivisie action this season.
