QPR vs Derby County Betting Tips and Predictions

Right now the Rams look to be heading for the play-offs rather than automatic promotion despite winning 3 of their last 4 matches. They beat Huddersfield 2-0 at home last time out but haven’t been entirely convincing for some time now and were beaten 2-1 by an out-of-form Wolves in their most recent away match. Derby are 7 points behind 2nd placed Middlesbrough having played a game more but hold a 5 point cushion on the sides just outside the play-off places.

They are probably already looking towards next season and a win over a side of Derby’s calibre would prove they are heading in the right direction.

Derby have won just 1 of their 6 away league games since Christmas and they were losing that going into the final 10 minutes at Brentford. They’ve lost 3 of their last 5 on the road and haven’t kept an away clean sheet in any competition in almost 3 months. QPR are making slow progress under Hasselbaink but have shown they can raise their game at times and backing QPR 0.0 Asian Handicap at 2.100 might be an idea here against a Derby side that flatters to deceive on all too regular basis.
