Draw

Reason for tip

QPR’s current run of three straight victories has included wins over sides at both ends of the table, with bottom of the pile Rotherham and table toppers Leicester both put to the sword in recent weeks. They should therefore prove to be a handful for play-off hopefuls West Brom, although the Baggies have lost just one of their last seven and so both sides may have to settle for a draw.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

The R’s have scored in six consecutive games at the MATrade Loftus Road Stadium, while the Baggies have failed to win any league game on the road whenever they have conceded. With QPR also keeping just one home clean sheet across their last eight home games in all competitions, a draw looks the most likely result, with a 1-1 scoreline drawing the most appeal.

QPR vs West Bromwich Albion Predictions

  • QPR have won each of their last three games, including at table-toppers Leicester
  • West Brom have picked up just one win from their last six away matches
  • QPR are unbeaten in four at home

Can QPR continue their great escape?

Recent victories have propelled the R’s out of the bottom three on goal difference and this resurgence could continue when they host play-off hopefuls West Brom on Wednesday night.

Despite having the second-worst home record in the division, Marti Cifuentes’ men are unbeaten at the MATrade Loftus Road Stadium over their last four games, with this run including victories over fellow relegation rivals Rotherham and Millwall as well as a draw against West Brom’s play-off contenders Norwich.

The Baggies meanwhile have won five of their last nine league games as they look to consolidate their top six position, however four of these victories have come at home at the Hawthorns, with the form on the road occasionally letting Carlos Corberan’s side down this season.

West Brom are have failed to win any league away game whenever they have conceded this season, and this wretched run looks set to continue given that the R’s have scored in seven separate games at home in all competitions.

This could prove to be a tricky encounter for the Baggies, with QPR’s recent from showing that they have more than enough potential to come away from this meeting with a result. A win however does look too tall of an order, so a 1-1 draw looks the most appealing scoreline.
