Rangers to outscore opponents again

Rangers have been near unstoppable both domestically and in Europe this season, as they have only lost one of their 46 matches across all competitions, including last week’s 1-1 draw in the first-leg of this tie in Prague.

Steven Gerrard’s side have been particularly dominant on home soil, as they are unbeaten at Ibrox this term, winning 20 of their 21 matches to date.

Much of that success domestically has been built on a strong defence, as Rangers have only conceded nine times in their 32 Scottish Premiership matches this season.

However, in Europe it has been a different story, as six of Rangers’ last seven Europa League matches have seen both teams score.

Slavia Prague certainly know where the back of the net is, as the Czech giants have scored in 17 of their last 18 matches across all competitions, including each of their last eight on the road.

Jindrich Trpisovsky’s side are also not used to losing, as they have only suffered defeat once in their last 27 games, although that sole loss was away in the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen.

It should certainly be an entertaining encounter on Thursday between two confident sides, but we are predicting Rangers to ultimately come out on top, although our prediction also includes Slavia to get on the scoresheet.
