Rapid Vienna vs Zorya Predictions

Rapid Vienna have endured a difficult start to the season ahead of the visit of Ukrainian club Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Austrian outfit were dumped out of Champions League qualifying by Sparta Prague and have lost two of their first four games in the Bundesliga, with one win and one draw.

Zorya have also had a tough start with just one win in four games in the Ukrainian top flight (D1, L2), but their one success did come on the road in a 5-1 thrashing of Inhulets.

Rapid’s home form has generally been good and they have won both of their home games in Europe so far this season, and we feel they can edge out Zorya in this first leg.  The Vienna club have four wins in five home games so far this term, losing the other, and three of those successes have been accompanied by clean sheets so a 1-0 home win is our pick in the correct score market.
