Real Madrid vs Almeria Predictions

  • Real Madrid have scored four or more goals in three of their last six home league games and five of their last six home games against Almeria

Vinicius Junior adds venom to Real’s ranks

Real Madrid return from Saudi Arabia with the Spanish Super Cup and renewed momentum as they bid to overthrow Barcelona and title pretenders Girona in the second half of the campaign.

Sunday’s visit of lowly Almeria offers them a further chance to demonstrate to their rivals how much better there can be than in the first half of the season when it often came down to Jude Bellingham to pop up with vital goals.

Vinicius Junior is back and his hat-trick against Barcelona last week should give him the impetus to go on get a few more in the coming weeks. The Brazilian looks to be a bit of value in the anytime goalscorer betting for this clash with Almeria.

Rojiblancos rarely keep it close in Madrid

Gaizka Garitano’s side have failed to score in four of their last six away trips, but are capable of putting enough of a shift in to keep the score down. Backing Real Madrid to win to nil looks good at around Evens here and there is a decent chance they can open up a big lead in the contest if they hit their straps again too.

The Rojiblancos have been their whipping boys whenever they have visited the Bernabeu in the last few years with Carl Ancelotti’s side recording 4-2, 3-0 and 4-0 victories during two different spells with the Italian in charge.

Another 4-0 scoreline looks about right for this occasion given Real Madrid will be brimming with confidence after putting four past Barca and desperate to keep their momentum up ahead of sterner tests to come.
