Real Madrid To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won 12 of their last 13 home Champions League games. They can register a win to nil against a struggling Juventus side without a win in their last six matches across all competitions. The Old Lady have failed to score in their last two while Los Blancos kept a clean sheet in their 1-0 win at Getafe on Saturday.

Real Madrid 2-0

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won the majority of their recent matches by two or three goals and a 2-0 scoreline could be the outcome if that trend continues. Juve have failed to score in their last two and lost 2-0 at Como last time out.

Kylian Mbappe To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Kylian Mbappé has scored five goals in two Champions League appearances this season and probably already has his eyes on the competition’s top scirer accolade.

Real Madrid vs Juventus Predictions

  • Real Madrid have won 12 of their last 13 home Champions League games
  • Juventus are winless in their last six matches across all competitions, failing to score in their last two
  • Kylian Mbappé has scored five goals in two Champions League appearances this season

No escape for Juve at the Bernabeu

Real Madrid host Juventus on Wednesday night in Matchday Three of the Champions League, and the Spanish giants are expected to extend their perfect start in the league phase.

Xabi Alonso’s side have already seen off Marseille and Kairat Almaty, scoring seven goals in the process, and warmed up for this clash by snatching a 1-0 victory over Getafe in La Liga. That win should have been much more comfortable than it was, although they never really looked like conceding to Jose Bordelas’ side.

Kylian Mbappé, their matchwinner against Getafe, is in electric form with goals in each of his last 11 games for club and country. He bagged a hat-trick in Almaty and is probably already thinking about clearing a space in his trophy collection for the Champions League Golden Boot.

Los Blancos can bag a win to nil

Juventus, meanwhile, have drawn both of their opening fixtures — a chaotic 4-4 with Borussia Dortmund and a late 2-2 collapse against Villarreal. Igor Tudor’s men are struggling for rhythm and arrive in Madrid off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Como in Serie A.

That was the second straight game that the Old Lady have drawn a blank and, after they were shut out in a 1-0 Club World Cup defeat to Alonso’s side in the summer, another Real Madrid win to nil could be on the cards.

Los Blancos have won 12 of their last 13 home games in Europe and boast a dominant record against Italian sides. Mbappé has five goals in two Champions League outings and looks a strong anytime scorer pick.
