Real Madrid vs Valencia Betting Tips & Predictions

Los Blancos progressed into the Champions League final in midweek when they beat Man City 1-0 at the Bernabeu. A meeting with city rivals Atleti in Milan later this month will be at the forefront of Zidane’s mind but there are still 2 league games to play and given Real are only 1 point off the top, we will still see strong sides from them even though they are reliant on both the top two dropping points. Real Madrid have won their last 10 league games and 15 of their last 16 at the Bernabeu in all competitions so clearly they will be strong favourites to win this game.

Valencia did Real a huge favour in April when they won at Camp Nou to really open up the title race. They backed that up with a 4-0 win over Eibar and have been looking much better going forward of late with Paco Alcacer in red hot form up front. However they are still poor defensively and could easily have shipped 4 or 5 goals at Getafe in their last away game and were beaten 2-0 at home by Villarreal last weekend. They are up to 9th place but don’t really have all that much left to play for.

Real Madrid have looked better at the back lately but have still only kept clean sheets in 36% of their matches this season which isn’t great for a side of their quality. Valencia possess a lot of individual quality and players who are capable of producing a moment of magic so an away goal is a distinct possibility but they are likely to be outclassed at the other end and therefore backing Real Madrid to win and both teams to score at 21/20 looks to represent value.
