      Real Oviedo to Win

      Reason for tip

Oviedo are unbeaten in their last nine games and should be able to get the better of a Cadiz team who have struggled on the road recently, losing four and drawing one of their last five away games.

      Real Oviedo 2-0

      Reason for tip

Five of Oviedo’s last six games have gone under 2.5 goals and only two teams in the Segunda have a better defensive record than this side, take them to secure a 2-0 win on the final day.

      Real Oviedo vs Cadiz Predictions

      • Oviedo have won six and drawn three of their last nine games
      • Five of Oviedo’s last six games have gone under 2.5 goals
      • Cadiz have lost five of their last ten outings

      Oviedo on the promotion march

Oviedo can still be promoted automatically as they approach this final game of the season and they are fancied to keep their hopes alive with a win over midtable Cadiz.

The hosts are two points adrift of second-placed Elche and their rivals have the better head-to-head record this season, which is a tiebreaker ahead of goal difference, so they need to win this and hope that Eder Sarabia’s men lose to Deportivo La Coruna.

If that does not happen, Oviedo still have the play-offs and they are currently in the driver’s seat to get the third spot and the easier path to promotion.

Oviedo have been rock solid on the run-in, going unbeaten in their last nine games and winning six of those.

By contrast they are taking on a Cadiz side who have struggled on the road recently, taking just one point from their last five away games and conceding ten goals in the process.

      Low-scoring affair likely

Although the results elsewhere may not go in their favour to see them promoted automatically, Oviedo are fancied to win this game to give themselves a chance.

Five of the home side’s last six games have gone under 2.5 goals and they can grind out a 2-0 win for correct score purposes.
