Rare chance for Sevilla

Sevilla haven’t beaten Saturday’s opponents Real Madrid since 2018 and have seven defeats in the eight games since that last win, but Saturday;s meeting provides an opportunity to end that run.

Los Blancos have struggled for results on their travels and have lost their last four away games across all competitions.

Sevilla may be a little distracted by their upcoming Europa League final clash with Roma, but should be able to pick themselves up for this game against the Madrid giants.

Real worth opposing

Real’s away struggles go back to early March and they have managed just one win in their last six trips in La Liga.

Sevilla could still force their way into the Europa Conference League spot but their priority will be winning the Europa League, and that would see them qualify for the Champions League.

Los Nervionenses have been excellent at home since the turn of the draw with seven wins in 11 La Liga games, losing just twice, and with Real struggling away a win for the hosts looks worth the risk here.

Erik Lamela is in good form for the hosts with two goals and an assist in his last three games and he looks a reasonable contender to grab a goal for the hosts.
