Mid table Burton look to replicate cup form to end their rotten run

While MK Dons sit in League One’s top-five after a run of three wins from their last four league games, a slew of cup games has muddied their overall six-game form (W2, D2, L2). Consequently, I predict MK Dons to falter yet again here against a Burton side who have recently suffered their own woeful run of three straight league defeats.

Contrary to their hosts, the recent cup games have improved Burton’s overall form, with their most recent comprehensive 5-0 victory away to promotion-chasing Wycombe Wanderers being the cherry on the cake. That result will surely boost the confidence of the Brewers ahead of this trip as they look to make it four competitive wins from the last five trips.

Goals are often assured when these sides take to the pitch and this is why I am predicting a 2-1 victory for the visitors.
