Sirius vs Malmo FF Predictions
- Malmo have won five of their last eight Allsvenskan games (D2, L1).
- Sirius have two defeats in their last four.
- Isaac Kiese Thelin is the league’s leading scorer with 11 goals.
Malmo looking for a response
Malmo slipped to just their second loss of the season at title rivals Mjallby last time out but can get back to winning ways at mid-table Sirius on Friday.
The Allsvenskan leaders did the league double over Sirius last season, winning by an aggregate score of 6-1, and they remain in good form despite the defeat to Mjallby with five wins in their last eight games.
Back Malmo to win and concede
An away win with goals at both ends looks a good option for our main tip as clean sheets on the road for Malmo have been an issue.
The Blues have conceded in each of their last three away assignments and have shipped 10 goals in eight away games, while Sirius have been in good scoring form with an impressive 10 goals in their last three games so they should at least be able to keep this interesting by getting on the scoresheet.
A 3-1 win for Malmo is the correct score prediction as they scored exactly three goals in both meetings with their hosts last season and have managed 40 goals in just 15 league games so far.
Finally, an anytime strike from Isaac Kiese Thelin appeals as he is the division’s leading marksman with 11 goals. Thelin had scored in five consecutive games before drawing a blank at Mjallby and he can get back among the goals on Friday.
