Can Marseille rise to the top?

Marseille’s turn around in form this season has been quite something, with Roberto De Zerbi managing to deliver five wins from his eight league games at the helm.

Unsurprisingly, given who the manager is, the Phocaeans have been particularly strong in front of goal, netting 21 times in Ligue 1 so far.

That translates to five of their matches containing 3+ strikes, while both teams have also scored in five of their games, including two of three at home.

PSG’s defensive woes

That does not bode well for PSG, whose only clean sheet in their last nine attempts came in a UEFA Champions League win over Girona.

Unsurprisingly, they are strong at the other end of the field, with seven of those matches seeing both teams score.

It helps that Luis Enrique’s side have scored a Ligue 1 high of 25 goals already, which translates to six of their eight league games featuring 3+ strikes.

I predict there will be three or more goals and that both teams will score, while selecting 2-2 as a correct score prediction.
