Solihull Moors vs Bromley Predictions
- Solihull are unbeaten in eight home games
- Bromley have only won once in their last nine away fixtures
- One one team outside the play-offs has won at Solihull this season
Solihull still gunning for the top three
Finishing second or third in the National League is crucial for the play-offs, as it means you only have to win one match to reach the final, and fourth placed Solihull are still very much in touch with those positions.
Mark Yates’ side have been electric at Damson Park this season, winning 12 times in 20 outings, including the last three in a row, against Eastleigh, Maidenhead and Aldershot.
They are big scorers too, netting at least twice in eight successive home matches, while Weymouth, back in September, are the only team from outside the top seven to beat them at home.
Bromley’s struggles on the road
Bromley by contrast will finish outside the play-off positions and that can be attributed to some poor form on the road, winning just six times in 20 games.
Andy Woodman’s side beat Eastleigh last month, but otherwise are winless on their travels since January, with none of their six away victories coming against teams in the top half of the table.
Just two clean sheets in 11 away games shows they have a few defensive issues too, which does not bode well against such a strong attack.
I predict that Solihull will win this game, and I think they could do so fairly comfortably, with 2-0 my correct score prediction.
