Can Swansea land a home win at last?

Swansea’s fans have been waiting for a long time to see their side win at the Liberty Stadium, with four months passing since they beat Derby 2-1, seven games ago.

Russell Martin’s side have seen both teams score in five of those outings, while they have only kept one clean sheet in their last eleven matches in South Wales.

Yet although they have started the current campaign with just one victory in five, they have been beaten over 90 minutes just once, scoring in all bar one of their outings.

Luton struggling early on

Luton on the other hand are in the Championship relegation zone after two wins and two draws from their opening four league games.

They lost 2-0 to Bristol City on Tuesday night, but two of their last four fixtures in all competitions have seen both teams net, including a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

And although the Hatters are struggling on the road, registering only one victory in their last seven Championship fixtures, they can take heart from winning two of their last three at this venue.

I predict both teams will score in this match, but I expect Swansea to take the three points after their gutting 2-2 draw with Millwall in midweek, selecting 2-1 as a correct score prediction.
