Swans can continue resurgence against struggling Chairboys

The writing has been on the wall for some time for Championship basement boys Wycombe and the Wanderers could suffer another setback away to Swansea this weekend.

Given that the Chairboys are all but certain to face the drop this season, they have been able to play with a bit more freedom recently and that has resulted in wins over Blackburn and Rotherham.

But this weekend they will be taking on a Swansea side with their sights set on securing a playoff spot and maybe more and they could be out of their depth.

The Swans endured a difficult few weeks through March but responded with comfortable wins to nil against Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday in their last two contests and they can be expected to record another shutout win against Wycombe.

No side has registered more Championship clean sheets than Swansea (20) this campaign and their rearguard should not have too many problems taming a Wycome attack who have netted only 30 times in England’s second tier.
