      Swansea vs West Ham Predictions

Swansea finally parted company with Garry Monk last week after a dreadful run of results, and the new caretaker manager Alan Curtis instilled some life into the team in his first game in charge.

The Swans were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Manchester City, but yet another match without a victory will undoubtedly have taken it’s toll on them.

They have now gone six Premier League matches without a win, and five of those have been defeats. Their last win was against bottom of the table Aston Villa as well, and that is their only victory in their last 13 outings in all competitions.

This has seen them freefall down the Premier League table, and they are currently down in 17th position, out of the drop zone on goal difference alone.

West Ham started their season in excellent form, with new signing Dimitri Payet proving an absolute revelation behind the front line.

But an injury to Payet and a number of other things have contributed to a poor spell of form for the Hammers.

They come into this match having not won any of their last six Premier League matches, and they have only managed two wins from their last 11 games in all competitions.

In all fairness to West Ham, they have only lost three of these 11 matches and four of their last five games have ended level.

This has seen West Ham vacate the top four spot they occupied early on in the season, and they now sit in 8th in the table. They are only five points outside of the top four though, so it’s not all doom and gloom.

West Ham may be in poor form but there’s no denying that they are proving difficult to beat. Add Swansea’s terrible form to the mix and I think odds of 3/4 for a West Ham Win or Draw Double Chance are excellent value.
