Roosters can ruffle feathers of troubled Tondela

Gil Vicente can extend their five-game unbeaten away run in the Primeira Liga when they visit troubled Tondela on Tuesday. The Roosters were well beaten at home by Sporting Lisbon last time out, but that is their only league defeat since late October.

Kanya Fujimoto’s early red card didn’t help matters, but they held out until the 53rd minute and still managed to create enough quality opportunities to warrant an xG of greater than one.

Ricardo Soares’ team appear better suited to playing away from home, however, where their five-game unbeaten streak can be no fluke as it spans wins over mid-table Pacos Ferreira and Maritimo plus a draw at fifth-placed Estoril.
