Trinidad and Tobago vs El Salvador Predictions

• Trinidad and Tobago held Mexico to a 0-0 draw in their opener.
• El Salvador have failed to score in just two of their last 10 games.
• Trinidad and Tobago are unbeaten in their last seven games.

Little to separate Trinidad and El Salvador

Trinidad and Tobago began their CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign with a point against Mexico and will be looking to back up that positive result with a victory over El Salvador in the early hours of Thursday morning.

El Salvador kicked off the tournament with a win over Guatemala, who were a late replacement for Curacao, and lead the way in Group A with three points.

Trinidad go into this match in good form as they are unbeaten in their last seven games with four wins and three draws. 

El Salvador lost two warm-up games prior to the Gold Cup, ending their own seven-game unbeaten streak, but dominated against Guatemala.  La Selecta did have to wait until the 81st minute to open the scoring but they were never troubled at the other end as Guatemala managed just one shot on target from four attempts in total and had just 31% of the possession. 

Both Trinidad and El Salvador tend to set up defensively and both have impressive records at the back.  The Soca Warriors have four clean sheets in their ongoing unbeaten run, while El Salvador have managed seven shut-outs in their last 10 games.

With that in mind, we feel under 2.5 goals has a real chance in this fixture and a 1-1 correct score bet has some appeal.  Both may be capable of keeping a clean sheet but Trinidad have 14 goals in their last seven and El Salvador have only drawn a blank twice in their last 10.
