Udinese vs Juventus Betting Tips

Udinese have won two of their last three games and gradually during the course of the season have climbed into a more prominent mid-table position. They did lose in their last outing, somewhat disappointingly, 2-1 to relegation battlers Carpi.

Udinese aren’t quite free from the relegation battle yet, they only have 24 points and even home games against Juventus carry significant importance, they need every point that they can pick up.

It’s difficult to recall quite such an impressive and remarkable turnaround during the course of a season as the way Juventus has played this season. They went from struggling to score and looking completely lifeless, to be a near relegation contenders to heavy favourites to win the Serie A. They’ve picked up 10 straight wins and have worked their way into second place, just two points behind Napoli.

It isn’t easy to pinpoint the precise cause or reasons for Juventus’ resurgence, but it just seems that something has clicked for a club that did have to make some significant adjustments after a summer where a couple of players exited.

1. Don’t bet against Juventus

They surely won’t win their next 20 games,  but until Juventus show signs of slowing down, we won’t be betting against them.

2. Udinese not quite strong enough defensively

Udinese are a defensive-minded shutdown football team, but we don’t think that they are quite tough enough to block out Juventus.
