Union Berlin’s season has been unravelling at an alarming rate, as they have lost eight matches on the spin across all competitions, including their opening two Champions League games against Real Madrid and Braga, conceding last-minute goals in both of those games.

Urs Fischer’s side have let in 10 goals across their last three matches and they are without a clean-sheet in any competition since their first fixture of the campaign – a DFB Pokal victory over fourth tier Astoria Walldorf.

Napoli tend to win big

Napoli were the leading scorers in Serie A last season and they have remained amongst the goals this term, scoring two or more in eight of their 11 matches across all competitions during 2023/24.

The Partenopei have won three of their last five matches and they have scored a combined 11 goals across those three victories, two of which have been away from home.

The most recent of those was at Verona in Serie A on Saturday and Rudi Garcia’s side could well replicate that 3-1 victory when they head to the Olympiastadion this midweek.
