Valencia vs Granada Predictions
- Valencia have only been beaten three times in the league at the Mestalla
- Granada have failed to score in four of their last five games
- Valencia are unbeaten in nine home meetings with Granada
Valencia searching for consistency
It has been a frustrating season for Valencia who ended a four match winless run last time out by beating Mallorca 1-0 and now go in search of back-to-back league wins for the first time since December.
José Bordalás’ side have simply been drawing too many, with six stalemates in 13 games at the Mestalla, but they have also lost just once there to team in the bottom half of the table.
They are looking to end a run of four without a victory at home, but this is exactly the kind of fixture they should be cantering to three points in, and they have never lost here to Granada.
Granada heading for trouble
A run of eight without a win, including six defeats, has left Granada teetering just four points above the La Liga relegation zone, with their lack of goals a major concern.
Robert Moreno’s side have failed to net in four of their last five, while in 13 away league matches they have scored just ten times in total.
Only three of those goals came against sides in the top half of the table, versus whom they have picked up just three points, through three draws, on their travels.
Valencia have the perfect opportunity to end their barren run at home here. I predict they will win without conceding, selecting 2-0 as a correct score prediction.
