Vitoria Guimaraes can solidify their claim on fifth spot with a positive result against third-placed Braga in Monday’s Minho derby.  Moreno Texeira’s men are in good form coming into this clash with three straight league wins followed by a solid 0-0 draw at sixth-placed Casa Pia last time out.

They have home advantage here and benefit from the fact that Braga have just been mauled 7-2 by Fiorentina over two Europa Conference League games and will be only a few days removed from the second leg in Florence.

Whereas Moreno has been able to keep a fairly settled side in recent weeks, Braga boss Artur Jorge has been juggling his resources amid the European games and the result has been a loss of defensive cohesion.
