West Ham United To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

West Ham have conceded in just one of their last six matches and it is difficult to see Championship Bristol City breaking through at the London Stadium, so take the Hammers to win to nil.

West Ham United 3-0

Reason for tip

Bristol City have won just one of their last eight Championship away matches and this step up in class could prove too difficult for them, so take the Hammers to claim a  3-0 win

West Ham United vs Bristol City Predictions

  • West Ham have kept five clean sheets in their last six matches
  • The Hammers are unbeaten in their last eight home games
  • Bristol City have scored more than once in just one of their last eight games on their travels

Hammers can go deep in FA Cup this season

West Ham got a taste of trophy glory when they captured the Europa Conference League last season and, as a team who can match anyone in the Premier League on their day, they will fancy their chances of a first FA Cup triumph since 1980.

Defensively solidity has played a big part in their recent progress and confidence levels will be high after a 2-0 win at Arsenal, even though they could not back that up next time at home to Brighton when they had to settle for a goalless draw.

But David Moyes’s side are unbeaten in their last eight hoe matches and with five cleans sheets in their last six league and cup outings, there have to be doubts as to whether Championship Bristol City will be able to break through.

Robins have not travelled well

The Robins have been far from prolific on the road lately with the exception of a 4-1 win at Watford and they have failed to score in their last two league games.

City have to pick themselves up from conceding a last-gasp goal in a 1-0 defeat to Millwall last time out and one win in their last eight second-tier away matches does not bode well for their chances, so if Moyes elects to make only slight changes to his line-up, it is perfectly conceivable that the Hammers will ease to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
