Woking to Win and Under 3.5 Match Goals
Woking vs Dover Predictions
- Dover remain without a win in their 20 National League matches this campaign.
- The visitors have lost seven of nine on the road, scoring just eight goals in the process.
- Both teams have seen their last four games all feature under 3.5 match goals.
Hapless Dover remain winless
Rock-bottom Dover Athletic remain without a win in the National League, drawing four and losing 16 of their opening 20 games. Taking their points deduction into account, Dover are a massive 23 points from safety, and have lost three games on the spin over the festive period.
Hosts Woking have gone four without a win, drawing at struggling Aldershot on Boxing Day, but remain a comfortable 10 points clear of the bottom three, and the same distance from the playoff places.
Only one of Woking’s last eight games has featured over 3.5 goals, while none of Dover’s last four matches have contained four goals, despite their dreadful defensive record. A relatively low-scoring affair, then, could be in order.
Back Woking for a low-scoring success
While Woking have struggled on their own turf this season, winning just three of nine on their own ground, Dover’s woes make this a superb opportunity for a home victory which would leave Woking looking up, rather than down. Furthermore, neither team has seen over 3.5 goals scored in any of their last four matches, so adding the goals market into the mix could be a good way of securing value.
Woking to win with under 3.5 match goals being scored, then, seems a decent punt for Tuesday’s match, while a 2-0 home success appears a sold correct score prediction, with Dover managing less than a goal per game on their travels this term.
