Stalemate on the cards at Adams Park

Wycombe currently sit bottom of the Championship standings, but they have at least proved a tough nut to crack on home soil of late, losing just two of their last seven at Adams Park.

However, wins have also been hard to come by for Gareth Ainsworth’s side on home soil, as they have failed to triumph in any of their last five on their own patch, although they have managed to draw three of those games.

The Chairboys have also netted exactly one goal in four of their last five games, drawing their most recent home fixture 1-1 with QPR.

1-1 is also a familiar scoreline for Cardiff, as each of their last four draws have been by that scoreline, including recent stalemates at Millwall and Deby.

Neil Harris’ side have scored in six of their last eight away games so we are predicting them to net once again on Tuesday, but given they have lost two matches on the spin in the Championship, we can’t see them getting more than a draw from this one, which makes 1-1 appear a solid prediction.
