Wycombe Wanderers vs Derby Predictions
- Sky Sports Red Button
- Wycombe have won just one of their last nine home league games (D4, L4).
- Derby have won four of their last five Championship matches overall, but they’ve lost two of their last three away trips against sides in the bottom four.
- The teams drew 1-1 at Pride Park in November’s reverse fixture.
Rams Under-priced Despite Strong Recent Form
Derby are in good form and easing their way clear of the bottom three after four wins from five, though the Rams look short in the betting for their trip to face Wycombe at Adams Park this Tuesday.
That’s because Wayne Rooney’s side have lost two of their last three away trips against sides currently languishing in the bottom four (1-0 vs Sheffield Wednesday, 3-0 vs Rotherham United) and with just four victories in total from 13 starts on the road this season, the 5/6 on offer for an away success this week makes limited appeal.
Wycombe have only won one of their last nine at home but have drawn four of those matches, so it’s quite possible that they can pinch something here. The Chairboys will also be buoyant after their 2-3 comeback win at Huddersfield on Saturday, while they also managed a 1-1 draw when the sides met at Pride Park in November’s reverse fixture.
All in all, a small wager on the draw is recommended at the prices for this Tuesday’s action and we’re also tipping up a 1-1 score-line.
