PSG to see off Lille again

Paris Saint-Germain have won the last three Ligue 1 head-to-heads with Lille and can continue to boss this fixture when they visit Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday.

They beat Lille 4-1 in March, having had the game killed off by half-time. The result was no surprise with Paris Saint-Germain priced at 2/5 to win the game and they have been leading at half-time in six of their last seven Ligue 1 matches against Lille.

Lille lost 1-0 to Lyon last weekend in their last Ligue 1 outing and could not break their losing run. Lille were priced at 6/5 to win the game and will have been frustrated to lose. They have now lost two of the three games this season in which they’ve shipped the first goal (67%).

They are sixth in the table, having won three, drawn one and lost two of their six games this season, while Paris Saint-Germain have five wins and one defeat. They finished last season with 84 points, 24 ahead of Lille.

The hosts’ recent form has been disappointing, with Lille suffering defeats in their last two Ligue 1 games.

The hosts have shown signs of attacking frailty. Lille have now gone two Ligue 1 games without scoring, and have lost both of those matches.

Paris Saint-Germain are in good form away from home, having won three of their last four Ligue 1 games on the road. They have also lost just one of their last ten visits to Lille.

Paris Saint-Germain have kept four clean sheets in their last six Ligue 1 outings, while Lille have failed to keep a shutout in 12 of their last 15 league games.

With Ligue 1 averaging 2.8 goals a game this season, the 2-1 away win for Paris Saint-Germain looks a decent correct-score bet and they were 2-1 victors at Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.
