Here’s how the 4-fold went down.
The first game in the accumulator came from Poltava, Ukraine which saw Vorskla host Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in an exciting encounter. The home side only managed to have 4 shots on goal all game but started quickly and managed to net with just 10 minutes on the clock. As we only needed one more goal we were made to wait by Sporting, the away side didn’t get an equaliser until the 90th minute through Fredy Montero. This game was great for all the neutrals as Sporting managed to score again just 4 minutes later to take all 3 points.
We move to Norway for the next leg of our accumulator as RB Leipzig visited Rosenborg for their Group B clash. Favourites Leipzig flew into the lead after just 12 minutes on the clock and later went on to score two more and take a 3-0 lead after 60 minutes. Rosenborg only had 35% possession and 5 shots on goal but they managed to grab the vital goal we needed with 10 minutes to spare and move us over to the 8pm kick offs.
Flying over to Germany for the penultimate leg as Eintracht Frankfurt welcomed a Lazio side looking to bounce back after a poor weekend in Serie A. We didn’t wait long for this leg to land as Frankfurt scored after just 4 minutes on the clock, Lazio went on to equalise less than 20 minutes later and our accumulator looked in great position to land for us.
The final leg of our winning accumulator came from the Liege as Standard Liege played Akhisar Belediye of the Turkish Super Liga. It took just 17 minutes for the hosts to take the lead through striker Renaud Edmond. The visitors didn’t waste any time getting back into this one and equalised to give us our win less than 15 minutes later. The BTTS Accumulator landed after just 30 minutes of the 8pm kick offs!
