2019/20 NBA Season Suspended

On Wednesday night, NBA commissioner Adam Silver put a halt to the current NBA season after one of the leagues’ players preliminary tested positive for the coronavirus.

Oklahoma City Thunder’s game vs Utah Jazz was suspended just minutes before tip off and it was shortly announced that Jazz player Rudy Gobert was being tested for COVID-19. Gobert was not in attendance on the night but NBA officials sent both teams to the locker rooms with news breaking that he tested positive for COVID-19.

The NBA will be suspending all games until further notice, using the hiatus to determine next steps moving forward in regards to the coronavirus pandemic.

Unfortunately we will not be posting our daily NBA content for obvious reasons until play resumes. You can read the full official statement posted by the NBA below.
