84/1 & 8/1 Bet Builder Tips for the Europa League Final

Sports Journalist at FST, Gareth qualified as a journalist after graduating from university and spent over a decade as a freelance broadcast journalist, commentator and tipster before joining FST. Now living in Manchester, he is a long suffering Bolton Wanderers fan who also enjoys boxing, the NBA, tennis and rugby league.

The Europa League final takes place at the San Mames in Bilbao on Wednesday as Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur face off in a European showpiece.

The stakes couldn’t be higher after terrible domestic campaigns for both clubs. The winner gets a trophy and a place in next year’s Champions League, while the loser will have nothing to show for their efforts this season.

FST tipster Alex Wrigley has covered the game in our dedicated Match Predictions section and now I’ve delved into the player markets to put together two Europa League Final Bet Builder Tips.

One is an ambitious 84/1 shot, while the other is an 8/1 four-fold focusing mostly on shots. Both bets are slipped up with Paddy Power and are covered by their Super Sub offer, while you can back both bets and take advantage of their sign-up offer below.

8/1 Europa League Final Bet Builder Tip

Alejandro Garnacho To Have 1+ Shots On Target

Alejandro Garnacho has been getting plenty of chances of late as he averages 3.4 attempts per-game across his last 10 Premier League starts. Garnacho manages to get around a third of his attempts on target so he has a decent chance of at least testing the keeper once in Wednesday’s final.

Dominic Solanke To Have 1+ Shots on Target

Spurs forward Dominic Solanke has a shooting accuracy of just under 50%, and that doesn’t include blocked attempts when taking into account his blocked efforts. Solanke has had multiple attempts in eight of his last 10 league games and can at least record one shot on goal.

Bruno Fernandes To Score Or Assist

Bruno Fernandes has been the one shining light in Manchester United’s miserable season and he heads into the final as the joint-top scorer in the Europa League. Fernandes has seven goals and four assists in 13 appearances in this competition and can make a key contribution in the final.

Micky van de Ven To Have 1+ Shots

Spurs defender Micky van de Ven hasn’t scored this season but he does get chances. The Dutchman averages 0.6 attempts per-game in Europe and 0.5 in the Premier League. Van de Ven has had attempts in three of his last four starts, and he had two shots in his only appearance against Manchester United this season.

84/1 Europa League Final Ultimate Bet Builder Tip

Bruno Fernandes To Score Anytime

Bruno Fernandes has been the one shining light in Manchester United’s miserable season and he heads into the final as the joint-top scorer in the Europa League. He can make the award his own on Wednesday after netting all seven of his Europa League goals in his last eight appearances.

Son Heung-min To Score Or Assist

We’re expecting a Tottenham goal as well and if they do get on the scoresheet there is a good chance that Son Heung-min will be involved. The South Korean has had two appearances as a substitute after a period of injury but those outings served as a mini pre-season for this final, so he should come into the game fresh. Son has seven goals and nine assists in the Premier League in 30 games and five contributions in total in nine Europa League games (3 goals, 2 assists) so he is making an impact despite a poor season by his own standards and he can have his say in Wednesday’s showpiece.

Cristian Romero To Be Shown A Card

Tottenham’s Cristian Romero has been fairly well behaved this season in comparison to previous campaigns but he still looks a strong contender for a card in Wednesday’s final. Romero has three yellow cards in his last four appearances and two in his last three Europa League games. Tempers may well boil over in a final like there where there is so much at stake for both teams and a few cards are likely to be dished out, with Romero a clear contender.

Alejandro Garnacho To Have 2+ Shots On Target & Dominic Solanke To Have 1+ Shots on Target

We’ve gone with one Garnacho attempt on target for our short price bet builder, but he could manage multiple attempts on goal. Garnacho averages 3.0 shots per-game in the Premier League and the Europa League but at times his accuracy lets him down. However, the 2024 FA Cup final demonstrated that the Argentine attacker is capable of delivering on the big occasion and he looks good value to at least record two attempts on goal. I’m sticking with just one attempt for Solanke, who is more accurate that Garnacho but he doesn’t get quite as many shots away.
