Cheltenham Festival 2026: 239/1 Daily mega acca with Enda McElhinney

The Cheltenham Festival is here once more, the most eagerly anticipated four days in jumps racing set to unfold underneath the spectre of Cleeve Hill.

As the big event creeps tantalisingly close, we have compiled a 239/1 mega accumulator with one runner for each day of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival with the help of the Racing Post’s Enda McElhinney.

Don’t forget that we also have daily Cheltenham tips, including our best bets articles for each day of the festival.

Cheltenham 2026 Mega Acca

The New Lion @ 5/2

Champion Hurdle – 16:00 Tuesday

Irish mares Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead will prove a tough test but THE NEW LION may pass it for Dan and Harry Skelton in the colours of owner JP McManus, who seeks a record-extending 10th Champion Hurdle.

The New Lion was very good here last year as a novice and remains unbeaten when staying on his feet, with just one blip in the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle. His best could be still to come, while both Irish mares have exhibited frailties at times.

Majborough @ 10/11

Queen Mother Champion Chase – 16:00 Wednesday

MAJBOROUGH put it all together to win at the Dublin Racing Festival last month and a repeat effort will make Willie Mullins’ charge difficult to beat here. Defending champion Marine Nationale is absent, which adds to his allure and if he jumps around in one piece, he should carry Mark Walsh to Champion Chase glory.

Ma Shantou @ 7/1

Stayers’ Hurdle – 15:20 Thursday

Emma Lavelle has previous with the Stayers’ Hurdle, winning with Paisley Park in 2019, and her latest progressive seven-year-old MA SHANTOU could emulate him now.

Like Paisley Park, he has come through the handicap ranks and he won the Cleeve Hurdle here in January. Five Cleeve winners since 2008 have followed up in this contest come March and Ma Shantou was an impressive winner seven weeks ago.

Jango Baie (NAP) @ 7/2

Gold Cup – 16:00 Friday

JANGO BAIE was only fourth in the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day, beaten less than a length, but he could turn it around with his conquerors back at a track where he has a perfect 2-2 record. He defied mistakes to win the Arkle here last season, coming up the hill with a wet sail to gun down a trio of smart horses that seemed to have his measure. He’s still low-mileage and Nicky Henderson’s inmate could shine brightest in the closing stages if his stamina reserves hold up.
