EFL League One 2025/26 top goalscorer predictions & tips
Alfie May at 5/1
Huddersfield are looking to bounce straight back up to the Championship and the exploits of League One specialist Alfie May could prove crucial to their chances.
He managed 16 goals in the division last season and was the 2023/25 Golden Boot winner with Charlton.
This takes his tally to 82 goals in the third tier over the past four seasons, putting him tenth on the list of all-time top goalscorers in the division.
May has placed in the top seven goalscorers in each of the last four League One campaigns, and he could deliver big numbers for a side heavily backed to secure promotion.
Sam Dalby each-way at 28/1
Sam Dalby was deemed surplus to requirements at Wrexham last season, but the 25-year-old proved his worth in the Scottish Premiership, and he could play a big part on Bolton’s push for promotion.
Dalby notched 14 times for Dundee United in the Scottish top flight as he helped them to European qualification before moving to Bolton on a free transfer following his contract expiration with Wrexham.
Almost half of his competitive goals for The Tangerines came from headers, and the 6ft 3in forward’s aerial threat could prove a huge advantage for a Bolton side we have tipped to win the title.
