AZ Alkmaar vs Twente – AZ to win at 5/4 with bet365

This is a key game in the battle for the third and final Champions League spot in the Dutch top flight, and home advantage could swing this game in AZ’s favour.

Twente currently sit third and they are five points above their hosts but their away form has dipped. The visitors have just one point to show from their last three trips and they’ve only managed six wins in 15 away games in this competition all season.

AZ have won their last four home games, a run that includes a win over Ajax, and they can keep their Champions League hopes alive by taking down key rivals Twente on Sunday.

Chelsea vs West Ham – Chelsea to win and BTTS at 8/5 with bet365

Chelsea have put together a fantastic home record after a rough start, winning eight of their last 10 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge. They’ll hope to add to that on Sunday, when they host a West Ham side who have lost four of six visits to the sides above them.

The Hammers have lost eight times on the road in the league this term, while they’ve been beaten in four of their last five trips across all competitions. The Hammers have lost 5-2 at Crystal Palace and 4-3 at Newcastle in their last three away trips and with the Blues putting a run together at their own ground, back them to edge another high-scoring game.

Tenerife vs Racing Ferrol – Tenerife to win at 21/20 with bet365

Just one position separates these sides in the Spanish Segunda Division but Tenerife’s superior home record can help them close the gap on Racing Ferrol on Sunday.

The visitors have lost three of their last four games and have taken just one point from their last six Segunda Division away days, while Tenerife are unbeaten across their last six at home and they have conceded just two goals in this sequence.

Verona vs Fiorentina – Verona to win at 21/10 with bet365

Fiorentina has fallen away in the fight for the Europa League spots, but Serie A’s handy coefficient means their points advantage over Napoli might still help them qualify for the Conference League by finishing eighth.

Last season’s finalists can still lift the Conference League trophy but their 2-2 semi-final first-leg draw with Club Brugge heightens the possibility that Vincenzo Italiano will make changes with an eye on next Wednesday’s return game.

He did so for last week’s 5-1 home win over Sassuolo but lightning is unlikely to strike twice and Hellas Verona can take advantage.

I Gialloblu are precariously perched above the relegation places but won their last home game. In fact, five of their seven victories have come at the Bentegodi and they have a chance to secure a super sixth.

Heidenheim vs Mainz – Heidenheim to win at 2/1 with bet365

Established in the mid-table positions, Heidenheim have enjoyed a terrific debut season in the Bundesliga and they are overpriced to see off relegation-threatened Mainz.

Heidenheim have lost just one of their last six fixtures in the Bundesliga, having beaten Bayern Munich and Darmstadt as part of that run, and they won the reverse fixture 1-0 in December.

Mainz, meanwhile, have failed to win any of their 15 road games in the Bundesliga this term with only Bochum having performed worse on the road.

James Mason

Brighton vs Aston Villa – Aston Villa to win at 29/20 with bet365

A run of six games without a win has seen Brighton slip into the bottom half of the Premier League table and they look set for more misery when Aston Villa head to the Amex Stadium on Sunday.

While the Villans lost 4-2 at home to Olympiakos in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, a top-four finish remains the main goal for Unai Emery and his side have built a seven-point lead over Tottenham in fifth.

Villa have lost just one of their last 11 away matches in all competitions and they should have the beating of a Brighton team who could lose their manager, Roberto De Zerbi, this summer.
