15/1 Both Teams to Score & Win Double
We kicked off at 7pm, in the Holland Jupiler league, with PSV Reserves. They hosted FC Eindhoven and the home side were in fantastic form, having won their first 5 home games of the season to a 13-6 aggregate score. The visitors took an early lead through belgian midfielder Fries Deschilder but on the stroke of half time the hosts hit back through Dutch defender Suently Alberto. It didn’t take the table toppers long to assert their dominance in the second half as in the 48th minute Kenneth Paal netted to put the first leg of our double in good shape. The game was put to bed with 2 further goals as Jozefzoon and Rosario added to the hosts total to win the match 4-1.
Last up was Monaco who hosted lowly Montpellier at the Stade Louis II. The game started in the same way with the away side taking a lead inside the first 10 minutes, this time through Algerian midfielder Ryad Boudebouz. Monaco hit back before half time to level the scores thanks to a Radamel Falcao penalty. In the 49th minute Monaco took the lead through Mbappe however the lead was short lived as Ryad Boudebouz bagged Montpellier’s second and his brace from the penalty spot. Monaco turned into ruthless mode after that, an incredible 25 minutes followed with the hosts scoring 4 times. Goals from Jemerson, Germain and Lemar put Monaco 5-2 up and the rout was completed as Adama Traore, who was playing his first minutes since his ankle injury, netted in the 89th minute.
6-2 and 4-1, not a bad way to land 15/1 double!
