There are two intriguing events taking place this weekend as on the European Tour we have the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship across three courses in Scotland, while in the USA the Sanderson Farms Championship is this week’s PGA Tour event.

Our tipster has put together a huge 2108/1 winners double covering the two events and you can see his selections below, and make sure to check out our dedication Golf Tips section too.

Dunhill Links & Sanderson Farms Championship winners double

Three members of Europe’s crushed Ryder Cup side – Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton – have trudged their way over to the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland and they may struggle for energy and sparkle in the miserable weather forecast for Scotland this week.

At much better value and at much bigger odds is for ever-improving local man, Grant Forrest, who has been chalked up at three-figure prices despite being in the form of his life.

Forrest finished fourth in the Irish Open in July to hint that he was developing into a European Tour champion, then he made his breakthrough at the start of last month, emerging from a congested leaderboard to win the Hero Open at Fairmont St Andrews.

On Thursday, Forrest will be a ten-minute drive from the scene of his career highlight, tackling the Old Course at St Andrews in the first round of the Dunhill. The tee-times have worked out well for him, with an opportunity to attack St Andrews in relative calm, then a chance to get done at Carnoustie on Friday before the winds peak late in the day, then first out at Kingsbarns on Saturday in forecast clear conditions.

Forrest, easy to back at 110/1, is a proven links master. He won the Scottish Amateur at Royal Dornoch in 2012, then the St Andrews Links Trophy in 2014, before losing the final of the Amateur Championship at Carnoustie in 2015.

Punters should consider an each-way double on Forrest with Sam Burns, who appears the most likely winner of this week’s PGA Tour event, the Sanderson Farms Championship in Mississippi.

Burns, who won his maiden Tour title in fine style in the Valspar Championship in May, was third in the 2018 Sanderson Farms and has since developed into one of the best young Americans on the circuit. Burns can be backed at 18/1, creating a 2,108/1 double.
