A 26th-minute foul on Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi got the ball rolling for our Bet Builder, but success was still looking a long way off with the three highest-priced legs still to be won.
We hit the halfway point towards the end of the first half with Antoine Semenyo’s fine finish and, with Bruno Fernandes dictating proceedings, things were looking promising heading into the final 45 minutes.
The drama continued after the break, but the teams made us wait before landing us with a fantastic double-whammy, with Marcos Senesi hand-balling just outside the area to earn himself a yellow card, only for Fernandes to step up and rifle the resulting free-kick into the back of the net, completing a stunning win for the FST team.
That Fernandes free kick also landed our Bet to Net Double as a single, with Danilo Pereira not featuring for Rangers, while Roma and Derby winning saw both our Star-Struck Double and our Bet of the Day turn a profit.
Finally, just to round off a fantastic night, the Pittsburgh Steelers romped to a 28-15 victory over Miami Dolphins to secure our NFL Monday Night Football Best Bet.
