There are no guarantees in football, but goals in games involving Borussia Dortmund comes about as close as you can get.

There have been 17 goals in total in four Dortmund games so far this season across all competitions ahead of the visit of Hoffenheim on Friday.

Die Kraichgauer have also been involved in some high scoring contests so far with 13 in total across their three games.

Goals markets are excellent for bet builders, meaning this Bundesliga fixture looks the ideal fixture for a big bet builder on Friday night and I’ve put together a five selection option for this top flight clash in Germany that pays out at 66/1.

66/1 Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim Bet Builder

Borussia Dortmund to be winning at half time

I fancy BVB to win this match-up, but Hoffenheim have been a bit of a bogey team for the Westfalenstadion outfit in recent years and Dortmund have only won one of their last six Bundesliga meetings.

With that in mind, I’m backing Dortmund to be ahead at the break rather than to take the three points as they have been ahead at the interval in two of their four games this season.  The hosts are generally strong starters and have been leading at half-time in each of their last five home fixtures in the Bundesliga.

Both teams to score

The stats suggest we’ll see goals at both ends on Friday.  Both Dortmund and Hoffenheim have scored in all of their respective fixtures this season, both teams have scored in each of BVB’s last three games and there have been goals at both ends in 11 of the last 13 Bundesliga meetings between the two sides.

Over 9.5 corners

Dortmund won 10 corners of their own in their defeat to Freiburg last time out and there have been at least 10 in total in each of their last three games.  There have been at least 11 corners in all three of Hoffenheim’s goals so far this term.

Marco Reus anytime assist

Marco Reus has three assists in four games this season and two of those came in BVB’s only home outing in the Bundesliga so far.  The 32-year-old playmaker has a pass success rate of 86.9% and is averaging 1.5 key passes per-game, and looks the standout candidate to weigh in with an anytime assist against Hoffenheim.

Sebastian Rudy to have one or more shots on target

The shots on target market adds an extra dimension to bet builder, and there is value to be found if you look at players regarded as more defensively minded.

Hoffenheim’s Sebastian Rudy looks a reasonable option here at a big price (9/4 at the time of writing).  The 31-year-old has scored one goal this season, and is averaging two shots per-game after two Bundesliga games so far.  Rudy is comfortable trying his luck from range and is a good outsider for hitting the target once at some stage during proceedings in Dortmund.
