It’s officially X-mas week and our tipsters have caught fire just at the right time! After landing a 20/1 Win Accumulator last Wednesday & another 9/1 Win Acca on Sunday night, they’ve done it again!

This time it was a Monday night accumulator which returned a solid £93 for just £10 staked!

8/1 Win Accumulator Lands!

The 5-fold kicked off in Portugal as favorites Maritimo were at home to Feirense. Judging by the odds the bookies gave us for a home win, it was supposed to be a tough home game for Maritimo. But, two first half goals from defender Mauricio ensured we wouldn’t have to worry about this one. A red card for the away team in the 64th minute also helped us a bit!

For the 2nd leg of the Accumulator, we headed to Romania where FC Viitorul hosted relegation threatened Botosani. Despite the visitors taking a shock 1:0 lead in the 1st minute, the home team kept their composure and bounced back with three goals of their own and cruised home with the victory. After the win they re-claimed top spot in the league standings from Steaua Bucharest.
We were two legs into the Acca and things were looking quite promising at this point. It was up to Verona who were up against Entella in Serie B. Despite dominating possession for basically the entire 90 mins, it took them a long 76 minutes to finally break the deadlock. Fortunately for us they were able to hang on for the win as the away team threw everything up front in the final 15 mins or so. The win for Verona means they leapfrogged Frosinone yet again and claimed back 1st place in the standings with 37 points.

Athletic Bilbao were the 4th team in our Accumulator and what a game it was! Up against a gritty Celta Vigo team at home, the Basques needed a win to stay within distance of a European spot. Iago Aspas scored in the 54th minute to put Celta in front and things weren’t looking good for our bet. Bilbao didn’t give up though and the pressure paid off in the late stages of the match. After Celta went down to 10 men (Roncaglia got a 2nd yellow & was sent off), Bilbao finally found the breakthrough they were looking for and managed to equalize with 8 mins remaining on the clock through Aduriz. They didn’t stop after the goal and kept pushing for a winner and ultimately they were able to deliver! It was Mikel San Jose who managed to convert on a cross from Inaki Williams in the 3rd minute of stoppage time to give us & the home crowd a much needed winner!

As we were keeping an eye on the Bilbao game, we had another game in progress (the 5th and final one) between Porto and Chaves. The visitors took a shocking lead in the 13th minute and with Porto struggling for much of the evening, we were in need of yet another comeback for our acca to win!

Luckily for us, Porto were able to overturn the game with two goals in the 72nd & 77th minute and they held on for the win!

It was an intense evening and with a bit of luck on our side we were able to land our 3rd Footy Accumulator in just 6 days!
