We are down to the final four in the Champions League now and this week marks the first of two semi-final legs to be played in Europe’s elite competition.

The most successful team in the tournament’s history travel to the Etihad as underdogs on Tuesday before surprise package Villarreal pay a visit to Anfield on Wednesday and both British teams are firm favourites.

There are ways to boost the odds, though, and I’ve picked out two high-priced bets to combine into a massive Champions League double on SkyBet.

356/1 Crazy odds double

Manchester City vs Real Madrid

Gabriel Jesus to score 2+ goals at 16/1 –> NOW 20/1

Boosted from 16/1 to 20/1 with SkyBet, Gabriel Jesus looks excellent value to pick up where he left off on Saturday.

The 25-year-old Brazilian put in a perfect performance at home to Watford as he scored four goals and assisted one more in Manchester City’s 5-1 rout of Watford and that sort of showing must surely guarantee him a starting spot up front against Real Madrid.

Jesus has had a hand in eight goals in his last four starts for Pep Guardiola’s side and he should get plenty of opportunities against a Los Blancos side that have conceded 12 goals in their last seven competitive games, including three against Chelsea and four against Barcelona.

Liverpool vs Villarreal

Luis Diaz, Arnaut Danjuma & Mohamed Salah all to score at 16/1

Mohamed Salah may be going through a dry patch by his high standards but Liverpool’s talisman has still had a hand in five goals in his last four starts and has scored 30 goals for his club this season, eight of which came in the Champions League.

He is set to start alongside Luis Diaz, who has been a revelation since arriving from Porto in January. The 25-year-old Colombia international has scored four and assisted three in his 13 appearances and has been on the scoresheet alongside Salah in three of the eight starts they have made together.

Liverpool have conceded in four of their last five Champions League ties, however, and Villarreal have netted in nine of their ten Champions League games this season. This includes three goals at Juventus and one at Bayern Munich in the knockout stages and former Bournemouth man Arnaut Danjuma has been key to their success.

The Dutchman has scored 16 goals for Villarreal this season and six of those have come in the Champions League. He netted a brace against Valencia last week and has scored three in his last three starts for the Yellow Submarine.
