The Premier League wraps up for the international break with a key clash at Old Trafford, as Aston Villa visit a beleaguered Manchester United side.
I picked out 11/1, 19/10 and 13/8 tips on this game earlier in the week, and now I’ve got a 47/1 fourfold for Super Sunday’s headline encounter.
Man United vs Aston Villa Ultimate Bet Builder
Aston Villa to win
Aston Villa have a dreadful away record against Manchester United, but it’s hard not to see this as an opportunity for the visitors to turn that around. United have failed to win their last seven league games, and they were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth in their last home Premier League outing.
Villa are unbeaten in five league matches, and they’ve picked up away wins over Newcastle and Tottenham in that time. With the Red Devils hovering just above the drop zone, a strong Villa side are worth backing as underdogs.
Nicolas Jackson to score anytime
Jackson has impressed since his move to Villa, and the forward has scored in four of his last five Premier League appearances. Jackson was able to get a brace in their 2-1 victory against Manchester City last month, and the forward should be looking forward to the prospect of troubling this vulnerable United defence.
Ayden Heaven to be carded
With Lisandro Martinez ruled out through suspension, Ayden Heaven looks set to start at the heart of United’s backline. He looks like a player Jackson could target, and Heaven comes into this fixture having been booked in back-to-back home games.
Heaven’s increased importance has already seen him match his season tally of two bookings from last term, and he’s a player to target in the card market.
Only four sides have been shown more bookings in the Premier League than United, and Villa have drawn 29 bookings for opponents, the third-most in the division.
Diogo Dalot to be carded
Another United player who stands out for a card is Dalot. Only Matheus Cunha has committed more fouls for United this season than Dalot, and the Portuguese was booked in their draw with Tottenham last month.
Dalot has three career cautions against Villa, and he can add to that when he matches up against Villa’s Alysson, who has drawn eight fouls across his last five league appearances.
