Chelsea vs Arsenal

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea will have regained a bit of confidence with their 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in midweek, and they come up against an Arsenal side who managed to lose to Dinamo Zagreb. Arsenal have looked far from convincing in front of goal, so I don’t think they will be able to fully take advantage of Chelsea’s poor defence, meanwhile Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas got off the mark in midweek and could easily push on and guide their team to a win.

Aston Villa vs West Brom

Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa’s performances have been good this season, but unfortunately for them they just haven’t managed to get good results. However, with West Brom in relatively poor form I think the home side have a great opportunity in this Midlands derby. West Brom have been struggling to score so I think Villa will keep a clean sheet and come away with a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Newcastle vs Watford

Correct Score Prediction: 1-0 Watford

Both teams have been struggling for goals so far this season. Watford managed to end their goal drought in their 1-0 win over Swansea last weekend, meanwhile Newcastle haven’t scored since the opening day of the season. With the confidence of their first Premier League win of the season running through their veins I can see Watford winning this one, but I’m not expecting a goalfest by any stretch of the imagination.

Stoke vs Leicester

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Leicester

Stoke remain winless this season after their loss to Arsenal last weekend. Their newly formed attacking lineup just doesn’t seem to be gelling. Leicester, on the other hand, are still unbeaten and showed their grit when they came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa last weekend. I’m expecting another Leicester win, but with all their focus on attack I think Stoke will bag a goal in a 2-1 win for the visitors.

Swansea vs Everton

Correct Score Prediction: 2-2 Draw

Everton’s attack has been fantastic this season, and they have averaged nearly three goals per game in their six competitive fixtures this season. Despite Swansea’s strong defence I don’t think they will be able to hold off Everton’s attack. But Swansea’s attack has been excellent as well, and coming up against a relatively poor Everton defence I think the likes of Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis will get on the scoresheet in a high scoring draw.

Manchester City vs West Ham

Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Manchester City

Manchester City are still in possession of their 100% start to the Premier League campaign, and are yet to concede domestically thanks to their rock solid back line. I don’t see West Ham breaking through either, and the visitors defence hasn’t been the best this season. I’m expecting a comfortable victory for the hosts on Saturday, so a 3-0 win looks good to me.
